Eligibility Issue in Child Marriage Leave Plan - Divorced Employees Still Eligible

edited Jul 1, 2025 5:05PM in Workforce Management 4 comments

Hi All,

Content:

We have configured a Child Marriage Leave Plan with following business rule:

  1. If marital status = 'Married', employee gets 1 day of leave.
  2. If marital status != 'Married', the plan is not eligible (0 days)

Issue:

We observed that one divorced employee is still eligible for the plan:

  • Employee A - Marital status changed to 'Divorced' on 09/01/2022 → Still eligible for the plan.
  • Employee B - Marital status changed to 'Divorced' on 01/31/2024 → Not eligible (as expected).

We want only married employees to be eligible.

Could someone help us understand:

  1. Why is Employee A still eligible even though their marital status is now 'Divorced'?

Howdy, Stranger!
