Time calculation towards day1 when shift starts at 11 pm but actual work start at 1 am on day2

Summary:

Night shift employees:- Time calculation towards day1 when shift starts at 11 pm but actual work start at 1 AM on day2

We have a requirement where night shift employees shift starts say from 11 pm to 7 am but their actual work started at 12:30 am next day for 8 hours. All these 8 hours should be calculated on day1, based on time entries system is recognizing on day2 only. Is there any way to handle this scenario.

example-

employee work shift : 11 pm to 7 am

work day definition: 12 am

time entries :

01-jul-2025 1:30 am to 7:00 am ( employee shift started at 30-june-2025 11:00 pm to 7:00 am)

expected result: the worked 5:30 hours should come on day1 (30- june-2025)

Howdy, Stranger!
