OTL: If the overtime entry spans midnight-need to transfer the split times as per days.

Hello all,

Our requirement is : if an overtime entry is spanning mid-night, we want 2 different earned dates as per the hours on that calendar day so that the hourly rate can be correctly identified.

Example: If an employee works overtime on a Friday night (Spanning to a Saturday) 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM - as per our formula, the entries are correctly split as:

Overtime Friday - 2 Hours (22:00 to 00:00)

Overtime Saturday - 3 Hours (00:00 to 03:00)

But when these entries are transferred to payroll, the calculation card shows both the entries on Start day - FRIDAY in this case.

The issue will occur when Saturday hourly rate will be different than the Friday hourly rate for the employee (Because of any reasons i.e., salary hike).
