Multiple browser sessions

Someone asked about having multiple browser windows simultaneously open and signed into Taleo 7.5 or Monarch.  The answer is that, as with many other web applications, this is possible with Taleo Enterprise.

However if you want to have truly independent *sessions* (e.g. signed in with different user accounts) you need to open each instance of your browser (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer or IE) by launching the program again, typically from the Start button in Windows.  This creates a new instance of the browser with its own memory area for information about your session (e.g. session 'cookies').

By contrast if you just open a new browser window, for example in IE 7.0 by opening the File menu and using the New Window command, this will share the session information with the existing window and will not open an independent session.  Having two windows open using the same session will confuse many web applications and this is definitely NOT recommended with Taleo Enterprise.

Howdy, Stranger!
