Narrative Reporting - Designing a Report with Parallel Data Sections

In Oracle Narrative Reporting, we are looking to design a report that, when exported, displays two sections of data side-by-side, similar to a two-column layout in Microsoft Word. We are not interested in charts, we want to present actual data in a structured format that flows from the left column to the right, and then continues onto the next page.

Has anyone successfully implemented a report like this in Narrative Reporting? Is this approach possible with the tool?
