Retired Assets in previous years should be part of Asset Register Report

Summary:

Hello, one of our user raised concern regarding Asset Register Report that "all the assets that were retired last year still appear on the report. They do have a date in the period retire column(e.g Period Retired = Oct-24), but we were expecting as its a new FY they would be removed. Can you see if this is the case and whether its an error with the report."

Could you please help here to know retired assets in previous years should be part of Asset Register Report or not? Thanks.
