AICC file error: Invalid lesson status being received

We have recently recieved an new AICC file from an external provider. We have provided them our accessing URL and they have whitelisted our version of learn. So now when we upload and view the content it opens the learning. However we get an error message which shows that the eLearning module is trying to communicate with Oracle Learn about the progress (like "in progress", "completed", etc.), but instead of a valid status, it receives something it doesn't recognise:
