Ad-hoc Inspection Not Honoring Sampling Rules(Inspection Level) for Items (WIP)

Does Oracle Quality's ad-hoc inspection functionality support automatic calculation of a sample size based on an plan's inspection level and a given total quantity? If so, what is the correct process or configuration to achieve this?

Scenario Details

  • Module: Oracle Quality in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Process: Ad-hoc inspection.
  • Inspection Plan: Type is set to "Work in Process".
  • Inspection Level: A fixed percentage (e.g., 10%) is defined and assigned to the item.
  • Process: We are attempting to perform an ad-hoc inspection on a completed work order with a total quantity of 10 assemblies.

Expected vs. Actual Behavior

  • Expected Behavior: When creating the ad-hoc inspection and providing the work order/operation details, the system should recognize the total quantity of 10. Based on the 10% inspection level, we expect the system to automatically calculate the sample size as 1 and only require us to enter quality results for that quantity.

Howdy, Stranger!
