Event Alert WLF-00002 about changes in offering definition sent to waitlisted learners

Summary:

This is very confusing because waitlisted learners receive an outlook invite for sessions where they do not have active assignments for. Being an event alert, we have no access to the receipient definition. Is there a workaround that would allow us to continue using this alert but being sent only to active assignees?

When creating an SR, the chatbos said the following:

The WLF-00002 alert notifies learners when alearning administrator changes the details of one of their instructor-ledactivities. However, this alert is specifically mentioned to be sent tolearners who are enrolled in the activity, not waitlisted learners. The alertis sent when a learning administrator selects Actions > Send Alert toLearners on an offering details page. There is no information provided aboutsending this alert to waitlisted learners.
