Clarification on “Number of Employees” parameter in Update Contract Status ESS Job

Summary:

To update active contract status from active to expired, scheduled process Update Contract Status need to be run first. The process description states: “Updates the status of contracts that are dependent on time. For example, updates the status to expired when the end date is reached.”

This job has three parameters:

• Business Unit
• Contract Type
• Number of Employees

The first two parameters are clear, but I couldn’t find any explanation for the Number of Employees parameter.

Could anyone please clarify what this parameter refers to, or share any documentation that explains it?
