LAST_UPDATE_DATE Not Updating During "Validate Customer Contract Source Data" Job in RMCS

Hello Oracle Community,

We’ve observed an unexpected behavior in Oracle Fusion Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS) concerning the VRM_SOURCE_DOC_LINES table, specifically the LAST_UPDATE_DATE field.

Issue Summary:

  • A sales order is created via the Order Management screen (with one fulfillment line ID).
  • The "Extract Sales Order for Revenue Management" process runs and inserts a record into VRM_SOURCE_DOC_LINES.
    • At this point:
      • DATA_TRANSFORMATION_STATUS = FUSION_INIT
      • LAST_UPDATE_DATE is correctly set (e.g., 2025-09-05T09:58:00.592+00:00)
  • When the "Validate Customer Contract Source Data" job runs:
    • DATA_TRANSFORMATION_STATUS is updated to FUSION_REST_UPDATE
