Dependent LOV in smart search component

Summary:

Hi,

We are using the Smart Search component with two LOV-based search criteria, and it works fine. Now, we want the second LOV to be dynamically filtered based on the selection in the first LOV. Data source is ORDS for both the LOV's
For example: Employee LOV should filter based on the selected Department LOV, or Job LOV should filter based on Department LOV in the attached app.

How can we achieve this, since Smart Filter does not provide a way to create variables to capture LOV values?
