Tip: How To Change OCI Server Nodes
Summary:
Upon migrating to OCI servers, error logs such as bm.log are unique per server node. It is therefore necessary to have a method for switching nodes when troubleshooting in order to see all errors for the site, until such time as error logs are synchronized across server nodes.
The node you are assigned is determined by the server at login, presumably for load balancing purposes.
Get the list of server nodes
- Log into your site and go to Administration Platform > Developer Tools > Performance Logs
- If the Server Node column isn't visible, go to View > Columns and check Server Node
