The Proration Method field has unexpectedly become selectable when creating a lease contract.

When creating a lease contract, we have noticed that, starting from September 2025, the “Proration Method” field under Depreciation in the Overview tab can now be selected.
Until August 2025, the Proration Method was fixed to “360 days/year” and could not be selected.

Our understanding is that this field should remain fixed at “360 days/year” because, in Lease Accounting Configuration: System Options, the “Interest Calculation Method” is set to “Periodic Compound Interest.”
We have also confirmed information indicating that, from version 24D, when “Periodic Compound Interest” is selected in the system options, it becomes possible to perform amortization using periodic compounding, and the Proration Method field in the lease contract becomes read-only and fixed to “360 days/year.”

Howdy, Stranger!
