Non Workers Line manager is not getting updated

Summary:

Hi Team

We are using person type Non workers for few population in system . These worker are hired using Add non worker transaction and mapped to positions. While hiring these non worker for certain position we see Line manager is getting assigned based on the parent position available incumbent . Only issue we see is , If this Line manager got terminated then Non workers are not getting updated with next available line manager similar to other user person types like employee and contingent workers even after position synchronization job is ran.

Not sure if Position synchronization job will consider Non worker types or not . If this is the case , can you please let us know if there is a way to automate updating line manager for Non worker when a line manager gets terminated
