Impact of changes to Manage inventory organization parameter

in Inventory Management

We have to import Installed base assets through FBDI.
For this action, we need inventory organization access for the maintenance management.

Following the documentation, we had to enable
"Organization performs maintenance activities"
We are able to import installed base assets and perform asset updates.

But, we do not know the impact of this change.
We have Interorg transfer, work order processing and other inventory dependent transactions.

How to access the impact of changes in
"Manage Inventory Organization Parameters" - in the middle of transactions.

Also, processed serial number are not allowing to create Install base assets in the system. Any approach to have the system allow FBDI import with serials always processed and existing?
