Clarification on Replenishment Template Behavior for Item Code: 123456

edited Sep 30, 2025 2:56PM in Warehouse Management 1 comment

Hi All,

I have a few orders for item code 123456 with an ordered quantity of 296. Currently, my active inventory shows 334 units, out of which 38 are already allocated, leaving an available active inventory of 296, which exactly matches the ordered quantity.

However, when I run the replenishment template for this item code against today’s orders, the system is still allocating 3 LPNs, even though the active inventory should already be sufficient to fulfill the order.

it's very strange it allocated without any need

The reason I unchecked “Round Up One UOM” is that I don’t want the system to generate additional LPNs—I only need enough LPNs to fulfill the order. However, enabling or disabling this option doesn’t seem to make a difference. When I run the replenishment template, it still generates two LPNs, even though they aren’t needed since we already have sufficient active inventory available.

Howdy, Stranger!
