Fusion ESS Job for Subledger Closing Balance Taking More Than 1 Hour – Performance Issue

Hi All,

We are using the Subledger Closing Balance report (ESS job) in Fusion to extract balances into ARCS. The job is currently taking more than 1 hour to complete in Fusion itself.

We have 13+ locations, and the same report needs to be extracted separately for each location, which makes the process take 13+ hours in total and directly impacts our ARCS data load timelines.

From our analysis, the performance issue seems to be because the report is:

• Running multiple queries combined into one
• Applying many filters
• Processing a large volume of subledger data
  (Since everything is interlinked, we cannot easily segregate the queries.
