Pre-defined Serial Numbers with Unique across Organisations generating unique serials

Can we set the same prefix and starting number for Pre-defined Serial Numbers and Oracle still generates unique serial numbers?
Serial Number Generation Uniqueness Control is set to set to "Unique across organisations".

We are using Pre-defined Serial Numbers, so that we can use Serialised Operations in Manufacturing.

Serial Number Generation Uniqueness Control in the Inventory Orgainsaition Parameters is set to "Unique across organisations" and Generation is set to "At item level". Therefore, the same serial number cannot be used across two different items.

We want to use the same starting prefix and starting number for multiple items. When we generate numbers, we want Oracle to manage it, so it uses the next available number and doesn't generate the same number twice. For example:
