Enhancing Embedded Task in Oracle Integration OIC to dynamic process option selection in OPA

With one of its recent releases, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) introduced a highly anticipated feature—a seamless embedded task that connects directly to Oracle Process Automation (OPA) without requiring a separate OIC connection. This feature is a significant step forward in simplifying the integration process and enhancing connectivity between Oracle systems.

The embedded task in OIC simplifies the creation of new tasks in OPA, but it currently lacks the ability to dynamically select the process (e.g., via a lookup). At present, we have four different types of processes for the same OPA application. This number could increase in the future. We determine the correct process based on a lookup. In OIC we currently have one connection without a switch, inputs based on a lookup so all 4 processes are included. With this new feature, we would need to create a switch in OIC and setup each process in a seperate switch
