Helpdesk/ Case Management - Helpdesk Agents/Case Managers to search employees on employee search

Summary:

The problem statement of my client is that - Currently Helpdesk agents or case managers can use either person number / name / email id/ assignment number to search for employees on the Employee search Page. However they are looking for an option if they can search for employee based on other fields like region or ticket subject or using a custom field like store number that is associated to employee on the assignment page.

Incase employee search is not the right place for Helpdesk agent or case manager to search employees based on region or ticket subject or using a custom field like store number , then what would be the recommendation ,
