Is it mandatory to have the last operation as “In-House” for Outside Processing?

We’re trying to understand if it’s possible to have an Supplier Operation as the last operation in a work order.

In our case, we tested this by setting the last operation as a supplier operation. After performing the receipt, the material did not move to the intended warehouse, and the work order remained in “Released” status instead of being completed.

However, when we changed the work definition set up and made the last operation “In-House”, the process worked correctly — we were able to receive the material into the desired warehouse, and the work order was completed
