HOW TO CREATE ELIGBLITY PROFILE FOR ABSENCE PLAN WITH EXCLUDE OPTION AND HOW TO RUN THE PROCESS ??

Currently we have one absence plan where there no eligiblity profile hence all the employee from one legislation is able get accruals on month basis , now the customer wants to restrict for FTC employees right from 01/11/2025 so whats the procedure to restrict ?

1. Should i create eligiblity profile and mark exclude for FTC with effecive start date as 01/11/2025 in Correct mode under absence plan
2. Should i create eligiblity profile and mark exclude for FTC employee with update mode under absence plan with session effective date as 01/11/25

what should i do after mapping eligiblity profile into absence plan ??

which accrual schedule process should i run ?? and what effective date should i give ???
