Need Help to Blank Out “Sample Data Type” EFF Field for Specific Items in Oracle Product Management

Dear Experts,

I need some help with updating an EFF field in Product Management.

We have an EFF field called “Sample Data Type” which contains around 10 possible values. Currently, for our 100 items, this field has different default values — for example, some items show A, others show C, etc.

Our requirement is to make this “Product Type” field blank for those specific 100 items.

I have already tried using the Item Import (FBDI) template with TRANSACTION_TYPE = UPDATE and leaving the field blank, but it didn’t work — the existing values remain unchanged.

Could anyone please guide me on how to successfully blank out (clear)
