Customizing Gender Identity Field Label in Redwood UI

Hi Community,

We’re facing an issue with customizing the label for the Gender Identity field in the Demographic Info section of the Personal Details page in Redwood UI. This was previously customized with page composer.

What we've tried:

  • Made the field visible using VBS with lookup code ORA_HRX_GB_GENDER_IDENTITY.
  • Attempted to change the label from “Gender Identity” to “Same as **** registered at birth”:
    • via Manage UI Text — change did not reflect.

Observations:

  • Oracle documentation and community feedback suggest UI Text overrides may not apply to delivered fields in Redwood.
  • It seems the label may be hardcoded
