Requirement to change the current Asset Book Depreciation setup from Monthly to Daily.

Hi All,

My client has a requirement to change the current Asset Book depreciation setup from a Monthly basis to a Daily basis. At present, depreciation is calculated monthly, but the Finance Control team has requested that the Finance Operations team update it to Daily depreciation.

My question is: can I use the “Transfer Assets Between Asset Books” feature to create a new primary Asset Book "Corporate" with a Daily Depreciation Calendar and Prorate Convention assigned, then transfer the existing assets from the current Monthly-depreciation Asset Book to this new Daily-depreciation book, where Depreciation will be calculated as Daily, if my expectation is correct?

Howdy, Stranger!
