Lease Accounting Subledger Unavailable under Accounting Method

Description (Required):

We are configuring the lease accounting module for an entity which has a custom accounting method being a copy of "Standard Accrual with Encumbrance". The subledger application "Lease Accounting" is unavailable under the same. This is posing a challenge to add the Subledger Journal Entry Rule Sets.

Is this some intended product limitation or can we add the lease accounting subledger application to the accounting method through any setup.
