Can we add Terminated/inactive employee as SR resource
Summary:
As part of the new HR Helpdesk implementation, we are required to migrate historical Service Request (SR) data from a third-party system.
During the migration process, we identified that several employees associated with historical SRs have since been terminated in HCM. As a result, we are unable to add them as “resources” in the resource directory, since terminated employees are not searchable or selectable on the Resources page.
Because all these SRs are in a Resolved/Closed status, the ‘Resource’ field cannot be left blank in Import Management.
We would appreciate your guidance on the best approach to successfully migrate these SRs into HR Helpdesk.
