VBS | Restriction of List of Values based on different conditions on Core HR Pages

Summary:

We want to limit list of values that appear in a particular dropdown through VBS, such as on the request a new position page for the Union Field based on the Job that is selected. We are not able to find a option in VBS for that. There are other pages that require this, restriction of Action/Action Reasons based on other conditions.

Is there a way to achieve this in VBS, if yes how? if not is it a planned feature in the upcoming releases?
