Module Decommission - Benefits Module

Summary:

We have Benefits Module and was used in Past, wanted to know when this Module will be decommissioned next year do we need to do anything?

At present when we try to delete a contact who was once a Beneficiaries application will not allow and we need to process events and then remove the dependents, so when the module is decommissioned we will not have any issues in removing the contacts?

Please share your thoughts if you had similar situation.
