What’s the Difference Between Autonomous Database and a Standard Oracle Database on OCI?

I’m new to Oracle Cloud and trying to understand the main differences between a regular Oracle Database on OCI and an Autonomous Database.

From what I read, the Autonomous one handles patching and tuning automatically, but are there any limitations compared to managing your own database?
