Hi Guru,

i was reading the supply planning user guide for the examples of Safety Stock Planning with Lead Time Constraints and got confused:

if the purchasing lead time is 3 days, and there is 40 demand on day1 because of the safety stock, why the planned order have to be pushed to day 4? shouldn't the plan order be suggested 3 days earlier(day-4) to meet this demand, and then compressed to day1 since it's the start date of the plan?
