Is there any limitation on number of records hosted in Item relationship for an item?

We’re currently in the design solutioning phase and considering hosting data within the item relationship structure. However, we’re uncertain if there are any limitations on the number of records that can be associated with a single item.

I reviewed Oracle documentation but couldn’t find any definitive guidance on record limits. While no hard cap is mentioned, performance could potentially be impacted.

I’m curious—has anyone encountered issues when managing around 100,000 item relationships linked to the same item? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
