Mobile transaction for inventory

I would like to know since Oracle Cloud has introduced mobile inventory, as how clients can leverage to do hand held terminal transactions? Like in EBS we had MSCA wherein we use to have Intermec devices and install java creme software and do the MSCA Transactions. How can we do the same in Cloud environment? Can the users use there smart phones to do mobile based transactions like PO receiving, sales order pick or ship? If yes then what's the best practice with respect to setups that needs to be done on the mobile device or existing handheld terminals like
