Does CPQ redwood UI supports custom JavaScript stored in File Manager ?

Summary:

We are using a lot of custom JS in our original implementation (JET), in redwood UI I saw we have a section which allows to import external JS libraries, but in help i couldn't find any info related to it. Please suggest does redwood supports JS same way as JET or are there any restrictions, please share if any document is available. Also if possible any observations if anyone has tried enabling the JS in redwood.
