what are the options to change start date and end date on promised detail on RMCS Contract?

Hi Experts,

We are creating contracts in Oracle RMCS from Oracle Subscriptions management(OSM).

Once contract is created and allocated, users are trying to update start and end date of promised detail with satisifaction model as "Period" from RMCS contract UI, But they are not able to as the fields are greyed out.

I understand if we send the revision line from OSM to RMCS to update dates , It will work. BUT, could you please help me understand what are the options available to update start and end date of promised detail if we dont want a revision line to come from OSM to RMCS?
