Replenishment | How item substitution affect the values of planned order.

Hi,

i've create a replenishment plan that include three item. (for example 1,2,3). Item 1 is substitute for item 2 and item 3.

Now, the item 3 have "create supply" flag set to "no" so the system will generate planned orders for item 1 to cover the demand for item 3.

Now the shipment history is the same for item 2 and item 3, the values of minimum and maximum quantity, calculated by the system, are the same.

I do not understand the replenishment workbench for item 3 and why the PAB, Beginning Inventory Position and Final Inventory Position are carried far above the level of maximum quantity. Can you help me to understand ? (This not happened with item 2 that have the same forecast, minimum and maximum)
