Tool/agent to create a new Sales Order from an existing one and then cancel the original

I need an AI Agent (or tool design) that will take an existing sales order number, create a new sales order with exactly the same details, and then cancel the original order. There is no standard “copy order” API, so I am looking for the recommended pattern or agent design to achieve this.

We often need to “re-book” sales orders: create a new Sales Order that is an exact copy of an existing one (header + lines + pricing + charges as much as possible), and then cancel the original order.

In the UI there are options to copy or revise orders, but for our scenario we want to automate this as part of an AI Agent flow.
