[INV] - Restrict User Item Access by Category in Trx : Inventory, PO, and Order Management

Hi,

My customer needs to limit user access to specific master items. The requirement is that each user should only have access to master items belonging to certain item categories assigned in Product Information Management. For related transactions in Inventory, Procurement, and Sales Order, users should only be able to select items within their assigned categories and should not have access to items in other categories.

Example:

• Master Item A has the category: Medical Equipment
• Master Item B has the category: Medicine

Therefore, some users should only be able to access items under the Medical Equipment category, while others should only be able to access items under the Medicine category.
