Inter-org parameters setting, trying to understand how : Destination Transfer Type "In-transit" / "Direct" works.

  • For Destination Transfer Type = In-transit, does this mean Shipment and Receipt transactions are required?

  • For Destination Transfer Type = Direct, does this mean no separate Shipment or Receipt transactions are needed, and Pick/Ship Confirm is not required?

Even with Destination Transfer Type = Direct, we were able to do pick release, pick confirm.
