Worker's proposed line manager option is not available in the "Approval Chain Of"

Summary:

Hi,

We are trying to configure new approval rule for 'Manage Directs" workflow

Req is to - approval should go for new line manager however there is no option in the 'approval chain of' drop down to select "Proposed Line manager"

can someone help me on this? or any other alternative option to configure.?
