Can the Task Manager field be made editable inline on the Manage Financial Project Plan page?

We are working on the Manage Financial Project Plan page and would like to know if it’s possible to customize the Task Manager field so that it can be edited inline same as the Task Name field, rather than navigating to a details form. Is this supported out-of-the-box, or would it require a custom solution or personalization? Is this possible in sandbox? Clients are keen to know to enhance their user experience for easy update.
