costing per person not saved

After 25 D upgrade costing per person doesn't save on record.

When Navigating to My Client Groups<Costing per Person< selecting an employee < ADD < add costing info<submit < Record not updated / no costing info displayed

has anyone come across this issue and/ or has advice on how to resolve it?
