Is there a convenient way to search rows in Positions LOV in AOR Templates page

Summary:

When searching a position in LOV, the results include all positions. Searching by adding a critiera (Code or Name) also results in same set of rows. Is there a convenient way to narrow down the search resulting in required row or minimal rows - this is happening in Redwood AOR Templates page when using 'Positions' as critiera. Facing the same issue in redwood AOR page as well
