Is there any way to automatically update Supplier qualification initiative status ?

Summary:

Our client is using the supplier qualification initiative area to gather supplier reports for various services. They have a bunch of migrated reports (initiatives) that are still in status 'In Progress' and on the supplier portal 'Not started' which they want to update to complete / cancelled.
