SOAP webservice Support in Oracle Application Cloud ?

Seek your advise and/or documentation w.r.t. the hearsay about 2028 being the EOL for SOAP webservice support from Oracle Applications Cloud. Can already see quite a few Webservices marked as deprecated from various modules like SCM, HCM etc. Netsuite already announced its 2025.2 release as the last SOAP endpoint release with 3 years support only –

Please could you help throw some light on this? What does this mean if there is no equivalent REST counterpart or even if there is, it could be a rather diminished version of the functional capabilities supported by its SOAP counterpart. Different modules/apps may have different roadmaps. Deprecating SOAP globally would impact many legacy clients. I am assuming Oracle may prefer to manage per-product or per-suite deprecations gradually rather than a blanket cutover. Could you confirm as we have implemented many SOAP services (back in 2018 - 2023) with our existing customer. Thanks !
