Accrual should Update when LOS changes mid-year in yearly repeating period.

I have created a Fast Formula where:
If LOS > 5 years, give 27
Else, give 25

The New Hire and Termination proration logic works fine, and we are using a front-loaded plan with a yearly repeating period.

Scenario:
In January 2025, the employee’s LOS is less than 5, so he should get 25.
He completes 5 years in April 2025.
So, when LOS becomes more than 5 in April, the accrual should run again and give 27 till that it should be 25 but system calculating 27.


I want to know:
Is there any way to make the accrual recalculate when LOS changes within the same year?
Or is this expected behavior for yearly repeating periods?
