How to Build an AI Agent Tool to Read Custom EIT Data for Eligibility Validation?

We are exploring the Oracle AI Agent framework and need guidance on creating a custom tool that can read Custom EIT (Extra Information Type) data for employees.
Use Case:
We have uploaded policy documents (PDF) into the AI Agent. The agent should validate an employee’s eligibility based on the Work Type stored in a custom EIT (for example: FTO / RW / HBD).
Since the policy rules depend on the employee’s Work Type, we want the AI Agent to:
- Fetch the employee’s Work Type value from a specific Custom EIT
- Compare it with the rules in the uploaded policy document.
