Behavior of Released Planned Orders in Backlog Planning and Supply/Demand View

Hello Team,

We have observed the following scenario in Oracle Cloud Supply Planning:

  • Sales Order A was created and released the respective planned order. Later, Sales Order B was created with an earlier scheduled ship date than the Sales order A.
  • After running collections and plan execution:
    • In Supply and Demand, the earlier released order’s ship date was pushed out, and the new order was prioritized.
    • In Backlog Planning, the priority changed, but the release status for the earlier released order is blank, while the new order shows the release status as "Release".

Our customer expects that released orders should not change dates, and currently it is as per their expectation but we want to confirm:
