how to approve a request after delegation end date

Hi all,

for a document we have the approval rule that the manager is allowed to upload the document for their employees and then HR has to approve the upload. When a manager goes on a leave they normally delegate their manager role to another person until their back. This person then uploads a document for one of the employees and the request goes to the HR department. However, we discovered that when HR wants to approve the request after the delegation end date that this is not possible and an error message occurs:
